The mission of the Blackshear Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) is to support and enrich the educational experience of all Blackshear scholars by fostering a collaborative partnership between parents, teachers, and the community. We are dedicated to promoting communication, organizing volunteer opportunities, and fundraising to provide resources and programs that enhance the learning environment. Through our efforts, we aim to create a safe, positive, inclusive, and engaging school within the Third Ward community that supports the academic, social, and emotional growth of every child.
